Spider-Man: Edge of Time

In the year 2099, Alchemax scientist Walker Sloan seeks to gain power and fortune by traveling back in time to the present day in order to use his knowledge of future technology to found Alchemax much earlier in time.This causes the future of 2099 to change to a dystopia where Alchemax rules the world with an iron fist. Miguel O'Hara / Spider-Man 2099 is aware of the plan and finds out that Sloan's actions are not only responsible for the changes in the timeline but will also cause the death of Peter Parker / Spider-Man at the hands of a brainwashed Anti-Venom. Miguel warns Peter of the impending danger, and both Spider-Men must work together across time to save the future and Peter Parker's life.

NBA 2K12

 

NBA 2K12 is a basketball video game developed by Visual Concepts and published by 2K Sports. To be released on October 7, 2011 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, PSP, PC, Wii and for the first time on iOS iPhone and iPad. For the first time there will be three different covers to choose from when picking up the game, with Larry Bird, Magic Johnson, and Michael Jordan being the cover athletes of the game. Each will appear on a different version of the game. NBA 2K12 is the successor to NBA 2K11.

Dark Souls

^{Dark Souls originally titled Project Dark after a follow up from Demon's Souls. Although it was released on September 22 in Japan only for PlayStation 3. Dark Souls which is published by Namco Bandai Games for both PlayStation 3 and Xbox360 will be released in South Africa on the 7th of October.} 

The game will focus on dungeon crawling and the tension and fear that arise when players encounter enemies in this setting. The game is a spiritual successor to Demon's Souls (which in turn is considered a spiritual successor to the King's Field games).  
Dark Souls will take place in an open world environment. Unlike Demon's Souls, which would force the players to restart the level when they died, Dark Souls will allow players to lights specialBonfires, which function as respawn locations.

Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure

Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure is an upcoming spin-off game in the Spyro series, the first game in the Skylanders series, and is set to be published by Activision. It will be developed by the Toys for Bob, a game company who are developing the Wii version. A Taiwanese company known as XPEC Entertainment are developing the game for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Microsoft Windows releases with development being overseen by Toys for Bob officials, and Vicarious Visions is developing the Nintendo 3DS release. It is set for release on October 21st, 2011 in South Africa. Square Enix will publish the game for a Japanese release, which will be in late 2011. Frima Studio will be developing the Web, iPhone, and iPad version of Skylanders.

In Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure, players take on the role of a powerful Portal Master who can control over 32 different characters, including the beloved fire-breathing dragon, Spyro. Players will embark on a fantastical journey into an amazing world, where they will explore mysterious, mythical lands, battle menacing outlandish creatures, collect gold and treasures, and solve interesting puzzles while on a quest to save their world from Kaos, an evil Portal Master, that they must defeat. The video game comes with 3 action figures and a peripheral called the "Portal of Power", which connects to the player's console of choice. FIFA 12: Available Now At Skoobs

* New player impact engine: EA Sports released the video of FIFA 12, demonstrating the new "Impact Engine." This engine improves the collision variety, accuracy and momentum preservation.
* Tactical defending: All-new Tactical Defending fundamentally changes the approach to defending by placing equal importance on positioning, intercepting passes and tackling.
* Precision dribbling: Players can now dribble whilst shielding, meaning you can still move around the pitch whilst holding players off, rather than being rooted to the spot. Close control has been added below jogging as a way of allowing players to take smaller, more frequent touches, keeping the ball closer and keeping tighter control. Players will now be much more aware of their surroundings. As an example, players in possession near the touchline will understand that they’re there, and keep tighter control of the ball to stop it running out of play.
* Localization: FIFA 12 will be the first in the series to be released in Arabic, with Essam El Shawaly and Abdullah Mubarak Al-Harby providing the commentary

A new feature is Shift, which allows Tanner to shift from a car into another car and continue the mission.The Shift option is not unlimited however, so the player has to recharge the Shift meter by doing things such as power slides, big jumps and driving into oncoming traffic. Shift must also be upgraded from time to time, so the player can shift into more distant cars and other parts of the city.

Jonah Lumo, Rugby Challenge

Rugby Challenge was released on 26 August in New Zealand for consoles and will be released on 2 September for Australia and 8 September for South Africa. No release date has been set for the PC version and no release date has been given at all for North America and Europe. In game Commentary will be provided by Grant Nisbett and Justin Marshall. Rugby Challenge will be released on PS3, Xbox 360, PC and  The official trailer was released on 18 July, with a gameplay trailer then released on 26 July.
The game will be titled All Blacks Rugby Challenge in New Zealand, Wallabies Rugby Challenge in Australia and Jonah Lomu Rugby Challenge in the rest of the world.

Amongst other things, Rugby Challenge will feature 98 teams, 31 stadia and 11 competitions as well as extensive Tutorial Mode options available for players new to the sport. The tutorial helps get you up to scratch and various skills, such as running between cones, practicing kicks, and many other drills can be completed. Apart from single and multi-player options, you'll also be able to play up to 13 seasons and attempt a legacy in Franchise Mode. Franchise mode will include both international and representative teams. You will be able to choose a club and an international side to play as during the years. There is a World Championship in Franchise Mode.
