FIFA 12: Available Now At Skoobs

* New player impact engine: EA Sports released the video of FIFA 12, demonstrating the new "Impact Engine." This engine improves the collision variety, accuracy and momentum preservation.
* Tactical defending: All-new Tactical Defending fundamentally changes the approach to defending by placing equal importance on positioning, intercepting passes and tackling.
* Precision dribbling: Players can now dribble whilst shielding, meaning you can still move around the pitch whilst holding players off, rather than being rooted to the spot. Close control has been added below jogging as a way of allowing players to take smaller, more frequent touches, keeping the ball closer and keeping tighter control. Players will now be much more aware of their surroundings. As an example, players in possession near the touchline will understand that they’re there, and keep tighter control of the ball to stop it running out of play.
* Localization: FIFA 12 will be the first in the series to be released in Arabic, with Essam El Shawaly and Abdullah Mubarak Al-Harby providing the commentary

Jonah Lumo, Rugby Challenge

Rugby Challenge was released on 26 August in New Zealand for consoles and will be released on 2 September for Australia and 8 September for South Africa. No release date has been set for the PC version and no release date has been given at all for North America and Europe. In game Commentary will be provided by Grant Nisbett and Justin Marshall. Rugby Challenge will be released on PS3, Xbox 360, PC and  The official trailer was released on 18 July, with a gameplay trailer then released on 26 July.
The game will be titled All Blacks Rugby Challenge in New Zealand, Wallabies Rugby Challenge in Australia and Jonah Lomu Rugby Challenge in the rest of the world.

Amongst other things, Rugby Challenge will feature 98 teams, 31 stadia and 11 competitions as well as extensive Tutorial Mode options available for players new to the sport. The tutorial helps get you up to scratch and various skills, such as running between cones, practicing kicks, and many other drills can be completed. Apart from single and multi-player options, you'll also be able to play up to 13 seasons and attempt a legacy in Franchise Mode. Franchise mode will include both international and representative teams. You will be able to choose a club and an international side to play as during the years. There is a World Championship in Franchise Mode.

DRIVER, SAN FRANCISCO: NOW AVAILABLE AT SKOOBS

Driver: San Francisco is a sandbox-style action driving video game. The game formally was unveiled at E3 2010.

Gameplay

A new feature is Shift, which allows Tanner to shift from a car into another car and continue the mission.The Shift option is not unlimited however, so the player has to recharge the Shift meter by doing things such as power slides, big jumps and driving into oncoming traffic. Shift must also be upgraded from time to time, so the player can shift into more distant cars and other parts of the city. One of the inspirations for Shift comes from Google Earth. The game is also being described as a "return to the roots" to the series as the ability to get out of the car, which was introduced in Driver 2, has been removed as the developers felt that too many games have this kind of feature already and "it wasn't desirable [for us] to just copy that exact mechanic.".

BODYCOUNT: NOW AVAILABLE AT SKOOBS

Bodycount is a first-person shooter video game for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. The game is being published by Codemasters and developed by the Guildford Studio and is considered a spiritual successor to the game Black developed by the same team.
  
Gameplay
The game will be set in first-person. One of the main features is environment destructibility; nearly everything in the game is expected to be destructible. Environments and most of everything in them will be destroyed realistically, creating a dynamically-changing playing environment. By scoring kills, the player can unlock deadly power-ups such as air strikes that further decimate the environment. There will be a unique cover system where the player will have near complete freedom while in cover. Multi-player will be a feature with Team Deathmatches being mentioned. Co-op will also be an available feature in the game

Green Lantern: Rise of the Manhunters is the first video game based on DC Comics' Green Lantern. The game is also a tie-in to the film Green Lantern, which opened in theaters on June 17, 2011. The game features 3D visuals, not just on the Nintendo 3DS but also on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360's 3D can be accessed in two forms; TriOviz Inficolor 3D usable on any standard TV with the game’s included 3D glasses and stereoscopic 3D for proper 3DTVs

Gameplay

Madden NFL 12: NOW AVAILABLE AT SKOOBS

Madden NFL 12 is an American football video game based on the National Football League published by EA Sports and developed by EA Tiburon. It was released on August 30, 2011 in North America and September 2, 2011 in Europe/ South Africa. It was available on August 27, 2011 to EA Sports Season Ticket subscribers for a 3 day trial.

Gameplay

• The kickoffs are now at the 35-yard line due to the 2011 NFL lockout rule change.
• Onside kicks can be executed from standard kickoff formations.
• Tuner sets can be downloaded in order for developers to improve gameplay code without the distribution of official patches.
• To support awareness for concussions, players who suffer a concussion during gameplay will no longer be allowed to return to the game.
• A new collision system uses momentum to produce more authentic tackling and hits with 100 new tackle animations, including 40 gang tackles.
• AI enhancements allow players in zone and man coverage to correctly recognize and react to plays with the capability to break out of assignments when necessary.
• The custom playbooks feature allows the player to modify an existing playbook or create his or her own by selecting plays from 75 playbooks.
• The opening presentation for games includes mascots and cheerleaders for all teams that have them.
• Player traits change dynamically throughout a game based on his performance.
• Quarterbacks have distinct throwing motions, making them look much more like their real-life counterparts.

Captain America: Super Soldier: NOW AVAILABLE AT SKOOBS

Captain America: Super Soldier is a third person single player video game loosely based on the film Captain America: The First Avenger. The story of the game takes place during the events of the film, explaining Captain America's adventures aganist the Red Skull and Hydra all over the planet as established in the film. (wiki)

F.3.A.R (F.E.A.R 3) : NOW AVAILABLE AT SKOOBS

 

F.E.A.R. 3 (stylized in the logo as F.3.A.R) is a first person-shooter developed for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360. Is a sequel to the game F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin and the third installment of the F.E.A.R. series.

F.E.A.R. 3 received mostly mixed to positive reviews. Aggregating review websites GameRankings and Metacritic gave the PlayStation 3 version 76.33% and 74/100, the Xbox 360 version 76.13% and 75/100 and the PC version 73.82% and 74/100.
